INVITATION


Informal invitation :
Invitation is the way to invite someone to join something. Informal Invitation is an unofficial invitation, can be delivered to a friend, or family.
Example;is we want to invite someone,we could say like
this.
.I would like you to…
.Shall we….?
.How about…..?
.Would you like…..?

Example;if we want to except an invitation we could say

.Thank you,I’ll come….
.All right!
.Of….!
.Of course!I’ll come….
.Yes I’ll join to…..

Example;to refuse an invitation

.I would love to,but……
.It’s good,but…..
.Sorry,It’s good,but I can’t…..
.Actualy I want to join,but unfortunetly

-Offering an invitation:

*I’d like you to come to dinner
*I’d like to ask you to come swimming
*Would you like to go to the theater with me on Saturday
night
*How about going to the football match with me tomorrow
afternoon.
 
-Accepting an invitation:

*Thanks,I’d be glad to go
*Yes,thanks. I’d be happy to go
*Thanks so much for inviting me
*Let’s meet at the school canteen
*Yes,I’d love to
*Sure
*Great
*All right

-Declinning an invitation:

*I’m so sorry,I’ll be very busy tomorrow night
*I’m afraid that’s not to Good for me,what about after
lunch?

Example dialogue: 


Yosep : Can you come to night to my party ?
Rury   :
Of course!I’ll come to your party. 
Yosep : Ok. i'll wait for you.
Rury   : Ok. see you.

Yosep : See you.




Formal Invitation :
 A Formal Invitation is generally written in third person, and contains no heading, no salutation, and no complimentary close. The writer’s name should appear in the body of the invitation. The address of the writer and the date should be written to the left, below the communication.

RECOUNT TEXT


Recount text is a text is used to retell events for the purpose of informing org entertaining.

Recount text are :
*  Use of simple pas tense.
*  Use of temporal conjunctions.
*  Use of personal pronoun. 

Example :
MY BUSY DAY 
Last Monday was a busy day for me. I spent my time to do a lot of activities from college to my home.
 
First, at the morning, I did my presentation's assignment with my partner, she was Nurhidayah. It took 3 hours. And then we went to the campus for joining lecture. But, the lecturer said that our presentation would be started next week. It made us disappointed. The class was finished at 12.30.
 
After that, I had to go home because my grandmother was in a bad condition. She was hospitalized. So, it was a must for me to back home at that time. When I got there, there were so many members of my family. There were about 10 people. My aunt, my niece, my uncle and some of my cousins. We all hoped that our grandmother would get better soon.

SIMPLE PAST TENSE


Simple past is used for describing acts that have already been concluded and whose exact time of occurrence is known. Furthermore, simple past is used for retelling successive events. That is why it is commonly used in storytelling
*Simple Past tense adalah di gunakan untuk kembali menceritakan kejadian masa lalu atau masa lampau*

Simple Past Tense is a kind of tense which is used to describe an event or action that happened already in a certain time in the past
The pattern :
(+) Subject + verb II + complement
(-) Subject + did not + verb II + complement
(?) Did + subject + verb I

Example :
( + ) i went to library yesterday
( - ) i didn’t go to library yesterday
( ? ) did i go to library yesterday
                                Yes, i did
                                No, i didn’t

Adverbs used : yesterday, last night, last week, two days ago, a few minutes ago, last weekend, last month, last year, in 1984, etc.

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE


Present tense is simple form which used to express situation going into effect

 Simple present tense is used for :
*   
Express habit, general truths, repeated actions or unchanging situation, emotions and whised.
*  Give instruction or direction.
*  To express arrangement.
PATTERNS :
1. ( + )  S + V1 + (-s/es) + C
    ( - )   S + do/does not V1 + C
    ( ? ) Do/does + S + V + C
2. ( + ) S + is/am/are + K. sifat/ket/benda
    ( - ) S + is/am/are not + K. sifat/ket/benda
    ( ? ) Is/am/are S + K. sifat/ket/benda

Example :
( + )  Agus play a basketball
( - )  Agus does not play a basketball
( ? )  Does agus play basketball ?
                        Yes, he does
                        No, he does not

( + )  I love my life
( - )  I don’t love my life
( - )  Do i love my life ?
                        Yes, i do
                        No, i don’t

ATTENTION



Attention is a way or expression that is spoken so that other people will pay their attention to what we want to.
Example :
  - Attention, please!
        - Listen to me, please!
        - Excuse me, look at me!
